Eric Geber

Eric Geber was the Producer for the first season of the Inequality Podcast. Before working at the Stone Center, he produced The Public Money Pod, a podcast through the Center for Municipal Finance at the Harris School of Public Policy. Prior to that, he served in the Army for 8 years, both in the Field Artillery and Civil Affairs branches. He developed an interest in public policy and podcasting during that time, so following his separation from the military he pursued a Masters of Public Policy degree from the Harris School and joined the University of Chicago Public Policy Podcast (UC3P) network, where he co-hosted the local politics podcast, Meet Your Alderman. In addition to his MPP degree, Eric holds a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He also is currently serving as the Deputy Director of Corporate Governance and Sustainable Investment at the Illinois State Treasurer’s Office.

Geber currently lives just outside of Chicago with his wife, daughter, and three pets.
