Liyuan Yang is a predoctoral research assistant working with Professor Steven Durlauf on research in intergenerational mobility and segregation. He is also a Predoctoral Fellow at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Liyuan holds a M.A. in Public Policy from the Harris School of Public Policy and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Jilin University, China. His research interests lie broadly in econometric theory and its applications, particularly in settings related to inequality, mobility and economics of education.
