The Spatial Inequality Conference, jointly organized by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and the Stone Center for Research on Wealth Inequality and Mobility at the University of Chicago, brings together researchers studying how location shapes economic opportunity. Over two days, participants examine the spatial dimensions of inequality along three interrelated margins: (i) the accumulation and allocation of human capital across regions, (ii) the persistence of disparities through neighborhoods, schools, and labor markets, and (iii) the institutional and historical forces that sustain them.

Participation is by invitation only.
