Mariana Laverde

Mariana Laverde is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics at Boston College. Her main research interest is in empirical market design with an emphasis on education markets. Before coming to Boston College, Laverde was a postdoctoral researcher at the Tobin Center at Yale University and obtained her Ph.D. in Public Policy at the University of Chicago. She holds a Master’s degree in economics and a B.S. in Mathematics from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia.
