My research interests are in the areas of social inequality and mobility, economic sociology, and causal inference methods.

Jesse Zhou grew up in Beijing, China. He earned his LL.B. in Sociology from Peking University. He received his M.A. in Social Science, with a concentration in Quantitative Methods and Social Analysis, from the University of Chicago. In his spare time, he enjoys playing basketball.
