I am a sociologist who studies the long run causes and consequences of economic inequality.

Tom VanHeuvelen received his Ph.D. in sociology at Indiana University, as well as a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics. His work has been published in outlets including the American Sociological Review, the American Journal of Sociology, and Social Forces.
